There are very few good options of medical-insurance for those visiting the US. In the past, I have used plans from http://www.kvrao.org/ & http://www.visitorscoverage.com/ ; my general experience with filing claims has been somewhat mixed. Recently I came across other options for primary care in the Seattle area (I believe that there are companies offering similar programs across the US).
